How long will i get my licence taken away for?

i got into a car accident two days ago where i was at a stop light with one car infront of me on a main intersection. the light turned green we both started to go i had my foot on the gas the person stopped short cause they wanted to turn left but had no signal on. In a panic, i couldnt find the brake and a rear ended the car. My hood got somewhat crushed bumper was scraped but no real dents , airbags both went off, windshield got smashed from my friends head hitting it. We both had seatbelts but she was leaned forward kind of bent over so she hit the windshield then the airbags went off and she got an airbag burn on her face like a rug burn type thing and she went to the hospital & is fine now. Minor concussion. I didnt get hurt at all. I got my liecnce two weeks ago and wasnt suppose to be driving people around but she needed a ride home . I got a ticket that charged me with failure to care or something , failure to wear a seatbelt, and violating jol. The cops got there around 7 minutes after the crash and assumed my friend didnt have a seatbelt on cause she hit the windsheild which wasnt true cause she did. We were both out of the car when they got there . Im fighting the seatbelt thing and maybe the first thing . Obviously ill get my licence taken away but for how long? I was thinking 8 months to a year with all the charges.
