My dad is a jerk. I HATE him. What should I do?

I suggest go to counseling, I myself go once a week. And I thought it was going to be horrible, and people were going to think I was crazy. But it isn't like that at all. Right now my counseler is teaching me how to cope with things and calm down. Like my coping skills are; listen to music, take deep breaths, whatch TV, or tell friends. But those are just the things that work for me. Other people may have different coping skills. You just have to think of situations that you were very stressed. and how you got threw it. What you did is called a coping skill. Maybe your cried. Maybe you went to sleep so you wouldn't think about it. But you should have more then one coping skill.
