Does it sound like he's still interested?

Me and this guy were friends for 3 years and we have ALWAYS liked each other. Even if we had the whole "let's just be friends" talk, we still liked each other afterwards. 2 summers ago I ended the friendship because he said he just wanted to be friends and I felt like he had just led me on the whole time. When school started, I tried talking to him but he gave me one word answers so I just dropped it. Then I got a boyfriend and my ex friend started staring at us all the time. He started glaring at my (ex) boyfriend in class and anytime he saw us together he would avoid us. Does it sound like he's jealous? Could he still be interested in me? And if so how should I show him that I still care and want him back in my life?
