Has anyone won a case at court about a traffic ticket?

Has anybody in California won a case at court about a traffic ticket they received? I mean, as in, a person that had their traffic ticket dismissed for winning their case at court? If yes, what was the traffic ticket (seatbelt, passing a red light, etc.) and how did the case work out? Thanks.
