I need advice about my mom...?

Ok so I'm a 22 year old...I haven't lived with my mom for 3 years. I'be been doing everything on my own...I pay all my bills on time, have a great job and I'm still in school. I live by myself and am fully responsible. The problem is my mom still treats me like I'm 14. She still tells me what to do and where to go. She even still tells me to wear a seatbelt and be careful driving. She gets mad at me for getting upset with her when she treats me like I'm still a child. I've tried to calmly talk to her about it but that didn't work. I've tried ignoring her stupid comments and just letting them roll off my shoulder but I'm getting fed up. She got mad at me earlier and told me I need to respect her...shes right, I do but I also think I deserve respect from her. I've started losing the respect I had for her when she refused to treat me like the adult i am. How can I explain to her that she needs to quit talking to me like I'm still immature and treat me like an adult?
