Parents! Would you keep a child in a booster seat if...?

They were right at the recommended height, but 16 years old? I'm just asking because my mon makes me sit in one and I'm 16. I feel ridiculous. I technically by law don't even have to wear a seatbelt in the backseat and here I am in a booster seat. I'm 4'9", which is supposed to be the magic number, but she claims I have to be over that height. So would you keep your kids in a booster sear in that situation?

I live in cleveland oh and around 10;30pm my friend and i was trying to find a place so we pulled over in a parking lot to get direction, we still had our seatbelt on, the car was still running and my foot was on the brakes. The police then pulled up behind us and then told me to cut the car off. He told me that i wasn't the owner of the car when clearly i was. He then slapt me and my friend with that stupid ticket. My question is can i fight the ticket when i go to court?

Headlight / electrical problem!!! On a 2000 Hyundai Tiburon.?

My headlights (H7's) for my 2000 Hyundai Tiburon keep going out. I've replaced them 6 times this week so i know it's not a bulb problem. I don't know maybe im putting the connector to the bulb socket in wrong? I put brown wire on the bottom socket and yellow on the top socket. (Haven't tried yellow on bottom and brown on top yet, no more money to buy bulbs [H7's]) All six pairs of bulbs (H7's) came on, but soon after 2-3 minutes they burn out. (The back of the bulb [H7's], have a burn mark) During my third or fourth pair of bulb (H7's) the high-beam bulbs (H1's) or maybe (H4's) i forget, also burned out, and since then on i've been having more electrical problems. Like the light for my Hot and Cold meter on my dashboard goes on and off, and the meter rises saying my car is overheating when it is not. Or when my windshield wipers are on the sound (ding) for my seatbelt removed warning goes off. And my check engine light goes on and off. I Don't know what it is, i've checked the fuses but the gold/copper thing inside is still good (not damaged), because i know when a fuse burns out that gold/copper thing should be broken. right? I will be taking it to a mechanic soon, but i'm just lazy and my computer was closer. Someone Please Help!

Honestly, it is not very good. The sentence structure is terrible and very choppy. Most of your sentences are actually fragments. You should read it aloud to get a feel for the flow. You'll find that this has no flow. There are numerous spelling errors, as well. Then I come to the end. Pale skin. Perfect. Silly vampires.

Why is it that when i bend down my knee gives in and its hard to stand back up? i can't bend it or anything.?

Im only 14 and I've taken in consideration with growing pains or whatever but its been off and on every week or so. Its also been pretty bad for the last couple of days. I can't really bend it or move it at all without pain. Im very athletic and im going into high school soon so i'll be signing up for track and i'm worried that maybe when i start running i might pull something. I know a lot about treatments because i've seen a doctor about this but whenever I try what they say to do it doesn't help. I elevate it often and ice it too. I can also move my kneecap inside my skin. My friends get freaked out by it but it doesn't hurt. I mean, like, I can REALLY move it. A lot. Its not dislocated and it doesn't pop out but I can move it from side to side. Does this have to do with my knee pain?

Angry boyfriend,, Need help asap.?

My boyfriend has a lot of anxiety. He constantly worries about things and stresses over things. Not to mention he has a lot to stress out about, he got into a little trouble when he was younger and has a big court date coming up, he is scared that he may get jail time ( he wouldn't last in jail.. hes a pretty boy).. On top of that he works 40 plus hours a week as a tech support agent he deals with rude customers all day. He used to smoke weed for his anxiety and he (THOUGHT) it helped him out even though I was 100% sure it didn't ( i hated that he smoked). He recently was pulled over for a speeding ticket and had seeds in his floorboard.. the judge told him they would deffer his ticket if he could pass a drug test for the next four months so he hasn't smoked in almost a week. He was been stressing out so bad over the fact he cannot smoke, he even got frustrated when his seatbelt got caught behind his seat. He has recently been on edge. Every little thing I do seems to be a big deal. MY MAIN CONCERN: He has always been a little forceful when he gets upset like he would grab my face or hold on my arms firmly, but this week it has gotten worse.. The day before yesterday he laid on top of me so i couldn't move and held my face down really hard screaming at me to look at him when I talk to him (we were fighting ovbiously). He would squeeze my arms as hard as he could or pick me up and chunk me onto the bed. Last night he yelled in my face as he pushed his head really hard onto my head and also sat on top of me and held me down by my arms and face, I had a panic attack and he yelled at me telling me i was faking, I was hyperventilation and my mouth was so dry I couldn't swallow or catch a breath and he was yelling in my face to speak. I am really scared that this may escalate, I don't want to be in an abusive relationship.. I told him he needs to get help or I am leaving, He is incredibly sorry and has been crying non stop since last night.. he looks at me like he is so ashamed, I asked him to talk to his dad or a friend and he said he is scared that they are going to get mad at him for what he has done.. (he deff wasn't raised to treat women like that).. I don't understand where this is all even coming from, he has never done this before, I have never even seen him this angry before out of the years we have been together. He is honestly the sweetest person out there but then sometimes he turns into this and I swear for that moment the devil is in the room. I need some advise, where can I get him help that will actually help him work on his anger.. I dont need any (just leave him, your stupid for staying advise).. You should be charged with following too closely. You have no legal defenses to get out of the ticket. You're guilty. As you said you messed up and now you face the consequences of that mess up. You were at fault. You should have been paying closer attention and not been so close you couldn't stop. Take this as a lesson learned and be more careful in the future.

Me and this girl are friends, or at least we were fairly friendly up until the beginning of April this year. Our time tables don't really match up, I work days and she works nights, I have the weekends off but she usually reserves that for her boy friend. Well that does not bother me, but what does is the fact that she assumed I was glarring at her a few weeks back and still has not let it go. I was playing football, and I saw her in the distance, with her current boy friend and I kept playing, she said hi to my father and left the game (she stopped by because her father was the coach of the team we were playing). The main point of a seat belt is to make sure that if you crash or start flipping, that you don't get thrown out of the vehicle. Why Does this Scrape Keep Burning?

I was at a drive in yesterday and my friends and I were playing football and i was running to catch the ball and I fell on a rough patch of grass and got a nice sized scrape on my knee. It wasnt even bleeding badly. It bled like one small drop. I used wipes and washed all the dirt out and then put antibiotic ointment on it, but it still hurt really bad the entire movie. I came home and poured hydrogen peroxide on it and then some burn stuff called bactine or something and put antibiotic ointment on it and covered it up with guaze. I went to bed without pain and woke up and it had a scab but it hurt and burned to move my leg. I treated it the same way but it still really hurts. I've had scrapes on my knee before, but they've never hurt this bad. What's wrong with it, and how can i numb the pain and treat it?

You can't breathe on rollercoasters because of a fact of physics called G-Force. G-Force (Gravity Force) is a way of measuring pressure put on objects in motion, and is a result of inertia. Broken clavicle - is this normal or not?

I broke my clavicle in October 2009, and had surgery to put a plate on it in November 2009. Now, most of the time it feels absolutely fine, but I'm still having some problems - carrying heavy objects eg shopping bags makes my arm go numb, and I can't wear a bag or seatbelt or anything over that shoulder without pain. My mum keeps telling me I should go to the doctor, is she right? Or is this still normal recovery?

I'm 19 years old, and I was forced by my family to move from Williamsburg, VA to a small town in Tennessee, just outside Nashville, 10 months ago. I finished my first year of college. Landed on my left leg wrong and heard a pop in my knee. How can i heal it?

During warm-ups I went to spike the volleyball and landed on my left leg. I heard my knee pop, but kept on playing on it. It has been two months since the incident but i still feel pain when doing certain things. I cannot straighten or bend my left leg as much as my right leg and when i do this it feels tight. I feel pain when doing physical movements like squatting, jumping and sprinting. I still jog and lift weights but i want my left knee to be 100% again. How can i heal my knee? And is there a certain part of my knee that i injured?

Should I have failed this driving session (Kind of funny please read)?

Half way through me driving on the big road I told him I forgot to put my seatbelt on, he barely cared, and another time while waiting in the left turn lane I went to make a left but he hit his break and grabbed the wheel and didn't necessarily say I was not going to make it but he said I looked unconfident, and only once I started drifting to far to the right of the lane I don't think I was ever out of it though, and another time I was driving in what I thought was a lane but was actually where cars were supposed to be parked... LOL should I have passed that course he said I did good.

The easiest and cheapest way it to increase air flow...get a high performance air intake system (K and N makes very good products) and then a good high flow exhaust (Flowmaster, etc.). You can also purchase a plug in chip that can change your engine dynamics. They can get a little pricy but it is easy to install. Other than that, you are looking at major dollars for what you want. Turbos, superchargers, etc. can boost performance but you are looking at a lot of money.

Help! having horrible back issues?

I threw my back out really bad during this snow storm at the begining of the year...i was out there for about two hours shoveling and i guess my back just had enough. I most likely picked up way to much and lifted the wrong way. I ended up falling to my knees in pain and couldn't get up for about ten minutes. After about a week of recovering i was back to normal but later on i kept having trouble lifting things...i basically haven't been able to lift heavy things for the past couple months. Now im to a point where im putting on pants or loading small things into the dishwasher and my back gets close to being thrown out...also all the pain is in my lower back and when i do throw it out my butt sort of goes numb and the pain sometimes shoots down my legs. Im only 21...heavy chested and i have a tummy but not big enough to the point my back is in this bad of shape. I managed to pick an awful doctor who wouldn't listen to what i had to say when i tried explaining and i will be getting a new doctor, but i was curious if anybody has the same problem or may know whats going on because its bad if i cant even get my pants on :(

Please could anyone give me advice about my daughters father?

I am going to answer this from personal experience.In my opinion I would not press the issue of your daughter seeing her dad. he has had his chances and blown them, even a kid can see that.If he calls he calls but I wouldn't let him take her as he has shown to be more than a little irresponsible and she doesn't want to go with him.In the US you would be stripped of your parental rights for this behavior( happened to my cousin although his job out of state didn't help and his ex was very sneaky about it and cruel to the family another story all together). As for your daughter's grandparents I applaud them. They don't have to do what they do but they do because they don't want to see her go with out.They should be allowed to see her as well as her half brother. She will thank you when she gets older and they will too. Why punish them for his bad behavior. That's right you shouldn't. As for her name change the school will not let her go by a known as and neither will the doctor until she has had a legal name change. Seeing as your ex will not allow this(because he'll have to sign off on her) your only option is to have him stripped of his parental rights which can take up to a year.Ask his parents to talk with him. Seeing as he is not paying support or keeping his visits( make sure you document all of this you'll need it for court) he really should do it on his own then he would have no legal ties to her. The only problem that I have with this is the fact that his parents have been so good to you. Is it possible he would sign off and then her name change would include a combo of her current surname and that of her new step father? So say if her name is Smith now it would become Smith-Jones for example.That way you aren't hurting the parents that have helped you so much over the years when he has been so unwilling. something to think about.As I said before regardless of what you do let her grandparents and half brother see her but I wouldn't let him take her because of his past behavior and because she doesn't want to go. I wouldn't even tell her that he has a visit coming up or a phone call is expected because if he doesn't follow through it just hurts her and she doesn't deserve that.If she doesn't know she can't be disappointed and hurt by him.

Is it possible to get marks on your skin if you dont exercise for a long time?

I'm 16 and i have noticed red wavy lines appearing on my knees and thighs, they've been there a few weeks and keep noticing new ones appearing. Due to an illness i haven't been able to do very much exercise for a year but i'm not over weight. They do look a bit like stretch marks but i dont think they are because they came so suddenly and the skin hasn't been stretched, what could they be and are they related to not doing any exercise?

OK so im worried about my sons speech we had HV round a few weeks ago and she said she would have 2 come back in about 3 months to check his speech i was just wondering is vocab is normal for his age he can say mummy, daddy, nan-nan, he tries to say Jon, Pete and grandad but misses letters he can also say car, toe, mouth (without the th) two, baby, oh no, uh-oh, yeah, knee, head (without a D) bum, what (without a T) he says bitit for biscuit he can say bike, bye, hi, bear, water, ta, ball, fish but he says pish, pop, hat, button, peas, star without the s, wee wee, potty, wow tractor but he says it cacor, for ham he says mam, bus without s, bu for book, na-nah for night-night, yuv yoo for love you and a few more made up words and a lot of baby babble he understands a lot of what i say, he cant count yet just about all of his words are singular and doesn't say sentences do you think this is normal for a 30 month old? if not do you think i should ask for speech therapy?...sorry for all of the above im just a worried mummy lol x

How long will i get my licence taken away for?

i got into a car accident two days ago where i was at a stop light with one car infront of me on a main intersection. the light turned green we both started to go i had my foot on the gas the person stopped short cause they wanted to turn left but had no signal on. In a panic, i couldnt find the brake and a rear ended the car. My hood got somewhat crushed bumper was scraped but no real dents , airbags both went off, windshield got smashed from my friends head hitting it. We both had seatbelts but she was leaned forward kind of bent over so she hit the windshield then the airbags went off and she got an airbag burn on her face like a rug burn type thing and she went to the hospital & is fine now. Minor concussion. I didnt get hurt at all. I got my liecnce two weeks ago and wasnt suppose to be driving people around but she needed a ride home . I got a ticket that charged me with failure to care or something , failure to wear a seatbelt, and violating jol. The cops got there around 7 minutes after the crash and assumed my friend didnt have a seatbelt on cause she hit the windsheild which wasnt true cause she did. We were both out of the car when they got there . Im fighting the seatbelt thing and maybe the first thing . Obviously ill get my licence taken away but for how long? I was thinking 8 months to a year with all the charges.

Why everytime I sit down my legs from the knee down go completely numb?

If I sit for more than a minute my entire lower legs go numb, to the point where it hurts and I can't even stand. It actually hurts quite bad. It's numb at first then is a sharp tingly pain when I stand. I have to brace myself and shake them out until the feeling comes back.

Major anxiety issues while flying?

I'm flying this weekend on two 3 hour flights. The only time where I get really anxious is when we're either taking off or landing. When my anxiety kicks in it gives me the sensation of having to pee urgently, and am fearful of not making it in time. My question is, would I get in trouble if I went to the bathroom even though the seatbelt sign is turned on? Like, if we're landing and the sign is on, could I still go if I can't hold it?

Is my sister anorexic?

Hellooo :) I'm thinking my sister might be anorexic. It kinda freaks me out since I'm 13 and that kind of stuff really scares me. She's 17 years old, 5 foot 3, and I think she weighs 105 pounds. I'm pretty sure that's her weight, or around that weight, but she doesn't tell ANYONE her weight. I think that's what I heard the doctor say when I went with her for a physical, though. She weighs herself about 3 times per day and constantly looks in the mirror at her body shape. She is actually in really good shape! I wouldn't say she's underweight. She has a pretty flat stomach, almost a six pack. Her legs aren't skinny, nor are they fat. They look kind of muscular since she's a dancer. She always tells me to stop her from eating cookies and stuff, but it never really works. Like sometimes she tries to diet, but it's hard for her. But today she was lying on the couch with her elbows on her knees so that her stomach was hunched over so obviously there was a little "roll" out and my mom *playfully* says, "Look at that pooch" and playfully pokes her belly and my sister flipped out. She threw her phone at my mom's neck and started crying. Then my mom started crying. My sister has a glass and plastic phone and chucked it really hard at my mom. They have a REALLY bad relationship. Anywho, she clearly has some of the signs of anorexia (weighing herself obsessively, thinking she's fat when she clearly isn't, trying to diet, flipping out at a playful comment, not letting anyone know her weight) but then again, she doesn't obsessively diet either. Like just today, my sister and I had a large Pinkberry frozen yogurt with a bunch of toppings. Hahahah. She does eat kind of a lot, but she really isn't fat at all. I can understand where she's coming from, like I think I'm fat a lot of the time too. But I really am. But I don't obsess over it and weigh myself 200 times a day, I just try to exercise. So, do you think she's anorexic or just going through the self-conscious teen faze like me? Thanks a bunch!

How come in South Carolina I can get a ticket for driving without my seat belt on. But you can ride a motorcycle without a helmet? And how come I could be driving a pickup with people sitting in the bed and I can get a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt in the front where there are airbags. But guys can ride in the back of the truck with nothing and be fine? I'm just wondering.

My dad is a jerk. I HATE him. What should I do?

I suggest go to counseling, I myself go once a week. And I thought it was going to be horrible, and people were going to think I was crazy. But it isn't like that at all. Right now my counseler is teaching me how to cope with things and calm down. Like my coping skills are; listen to music, take deep breaths, whatch TV, or tell friends. But those are just the things that work for me. Other people may have different coping skills. You just have to think of situations that you were very stressed. and how you got threw it. What you did is called a coping skill. Maybe your cried. Maybe you went to sleep so you wouldn't think about it. But you should have more then one coping skill.

Who is causing the problem? Me or Her?

Me and this girl are friends, or at least we were fairly friendly up until the beginning of April this year. Our time tables don't really match up, I work days and she works nights, I have the weekends off but she usually reserves that for her boy friend. Well that does not bother me, but what does is the fact that she assumed I was glarring at her a few weeks back and still has not let it go. I was playing football, and I saw her in the distance, with her current boy friend and I kept playing, she said hi to my father and left the game (she stopped by because her father was the coach of the team we were playing). The next day I was gone for a run, turn the corner and blow by her and her boy friend again, I didn't see them, she texted me latter saying "you know regular people tend to say hello to people they know". I told her what happened and she said I was lieing and avoiding the true reason behind me not saying hi to her (her current boy friend). At one point I did like her. So then a week goes by, I had been fairly busy I try talking to her but she bairly talked to me until i was leaving, she said "FYI ... if you want to be my friend ... try harder". I asked her what was bugging her and she said "Well the fact you glared at me at the football game, and the fact you are lieing why you didn't say hi". I told her I had been busy and kinda down (I have had issues sleeping and been depressed). Well the next time I saw her I didn't know what to do, I have become a bit frustrated with this and well after a few mins I walked over and said hi, she brought up me glarring at her at the football game again and I kinda don't get why she won't let this go, its been a few weeks. What to do if police officer is coming and your about to get on bridge?

today i was driving (with permit) and a police officer was driving with his siren on hauling. I was about to get on a 2 lane bridge that has no shoulder and panicked so i kept on going, police officer gets behind me and trys passing me, on the other lane was an oncoming truck(the bridge is made where its like a hill and you cant see the other side until you've gotten to the other side). So the truck i dont think saw him and was still driving, so to avoid an accident i speed up(if i had stopped then he would have either hit the oncoming truck or he would have swerved into my lane and hit me). he gets behind me again as he sees the oncoming trucks, finally i get off the bridge and pull to the side and as he goes onto the freeway he glares at me. Severe Knee Pain In Both Knees.?

I'm 14 and my knees ALWAYS hurt. When I squat or kneel, my knees pop really loud, and I can't sit crisscross apple-sauce for more than 3-4 minutes without a really bad pain in my knees! I also have trouble climbing up and down stairs, and running/standing for long periods of time. They have been hurting for about 11 months now, and I don't know what's wrong. No swelling, just severe pain! My dad has bad knees, and he has had to get surgery three times, but I don't know why. Could it be genes from my dad, or something else? Do I need to see a doctor? Should I wear a brace? PLEASE HELP ME!

hi i am 13 year old boy. all my life i have a been a chubby kid and my parents would all ways make fun of me for it. when i was a little kid they would make me want to run to my room and cry. it wasn't till i was 9 i started getting dangourasly obese. when my parents made fun of me i would always turn to food for comfort. now i am 5'4 and 406 pounds. i currently have type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and my heart is not beating normally. even now my parents still make fun of my weight. like last week i decided to relax in my hot tub and my mom saw me shirtless and said "jeez, you have bigger boobs than me, do we need to get you a bra." to be honest my 17 year older sister (who is skinny) has been the only person in my family who has never made fun of me and when my parents make fun of me she is always there to say "dont listen to them" and says "i still love you just the way you are." since my parents always call me fat i decided a good way to rebel was to keep eating. so for the past year i have been going to fast food restaurants 2-3 times a day. like yesterday i ate 2 large pizzas, a big mac, and 3 tacos right in front of my parents. after all of that i was full but i pushed my self to eat a whole box of twinkies and a family sized bag of dorritos when i was done i could see the anger in my parents eyes. i took of my shirt so my parents could see my weight gain progress and i started playing with my moobs and saying how mine are nice and big and hers are small and nasty it really hurt her feelings. now i dont so much eat out of revenge now i eat out of pleasure. i am addicted to food and i cant stop. i know what im doing is bad for my health but i cant stop my self from eating large amounts of food. its gotten to the point were i can barely walk anymore, and when a take only a few steps i get this raging pain in my knees. how can i stop my addiction.

ok so I like this guy when he texted me the only problem was that he and my BFF dated. Then i told this really gossip friend who also told two other girls that I hated them so they told him I liked him. Why is my blood a bluish brownish color!?

Ryanair seat size concern!?

I am flying to Germany in 2 weeks time and have never flown Ryanair before - I am not too worried about baggage etc I think I'll be OK however I am slightly worried about their seat size. Having recently flown with KLM and finding their seats snug but comfy for a 14 hour flight I am worried about Ryanair. I am a UK size 20/22 and am 5ft2 - I carry most of my weight on my hips (unfortunately) and I am slightly worried about getting the seatbelt around me! Does anyone have any experience with this? They said times were more laid back and less tightly controlled and everyone wasnt as worried about everyone sueing each other (i couldnt get a dirtbike b/c of no where to ride it without ppl fearing of being sued) and they said the 1970's had less enviormental laws, less seatbelt worries, less smoking laws, less rules and u could ur liscence at 16 not a permit and wait like 2 years to get ur lisecne. Can someone please help me find out what my knee injury is, how to treat it, & how long the recovery time is?

so here's the story......Last year...maybe a year and a half ago, i injured my knee doing a leg workout for basketball but i don't have the luxury of going to a doctor to find out what it is. So i've kept playing basketball and now its starting to hinder my explosiveness. All i can say is that all of the pain is located at the bottom center of my knee cap or patella. My guess is that it is a moderate to severely strained patella tendon. However i do know its not a ruptured/torn patella tendon cause my patella is not all the way up into my thigh. I am still not sure if it is my patella, my ACL, or my Meniscus. i have looked at several pictures of the muscular/ skeletal anatomy of my left knee, and im still not sure that kind of injury it is. if anyone can help me.....please cuz im dyin here cuz basketball is something i wanna do for the rest of my God-given LIFE.

In a car accident yesterday, whiplash?

I was in a car crash yesterday where the car pretty much bounced on both sides and i was in the back, wearing a seatbelt but my neck got thrown back and i winded myself as i couldnt breathe for a tiny bit. I'm fine now and so was everyone else, but my back really hurts between my shoulder blades and it has been since immediately after the crash. What to do if police officer is coming and your about to get on bridge?

today i was driving (with permit) and a police officer was driving with his siren on hauling. I was about to get on a 2 lane bridge that has no shoulder and panicked so i kept on going, police officer gets behind me and trys passing me, on the other lane was an oncoming truck(the bridge is made where its like a hill and you cant see the other side until you've gotten to the other side). So the truck i dont think saw him and was still driving, so to avoid an accident i speed up(if i had stopped then he would have either hit the oncoming truck or he would have swerved into my lane and hit me). he gets behind me again as he sees the oncoming trucks, finally i get off the bridge and pull to the side and as he goes onto the freeway he glares at me. What should i have done in this situation, freaked me out majorly and would like to know what to do if there is no shoulder

Okay, so about a year ago. There was a big fight between my sister and my uncle. And my uncle raised his hand to hit her and I pushed him, threatened to **** him up, this and that. (You know how people get when they get angry and black out.) Alright so I got court for that. They gave me supervised probation for 6 months.(They was thinking about 5, but the 5 would've been unsupervised and less money for me to pay and less money they got out of it.) Anyways so then on the way about 6 months later... I picked up another charge for trying to impress my friends. I stole my mom's car. I know I didn't cross wrong lanes. But they hit me with marked lanes, OUI, possession of a dangerous weapon, driving with no seatbelt, and unlicensed operation. So I was in court for that blah dee doo. And I completely forgot about my court case. Now I've been on the run for about two months now, because I know I have two warrants.(For both cases.) Because I missed both the cases, one case was supposed to be dropped which was the probation one. That was a minor offense cause I was going to juvenile court for that. Now that's not my issue. The issue is I missed my adult court date and I'm afraid to go in because I'm scared they will arrest me. I don't want to go to jail, and I don't really know if they're going to hit me with a lot of jail time. Can someone PLEASE tell me if I will get jail time for this? Btw they can't prove the OUI, and the seatbelt thing. Please someone tell me what's the best, and worst possible outcome if I go into court?

I am a ballet student. Plie, or bending of the knees in ballet, is done throughout the entire class. Though this is so, my ankle has been bothering me lately. When I bend my knees, there is a lot of clicking around in my ankle and it soon restricts motion so I can go no further down. It clicks, and its painful all in that little dip part on the outside of my left ankle. Is this anything serious? What should I do? I've been icing it!

Seatbelt broken after minor fender bender?

I drive a 2010 Honda Insight, and was in a really minor wreck about a week ago. The seat belt was fine at first and the air bags did not deploy but the "check airbag system" light came on afterwards. Yesterday the seat belt came all the way out and won't wind back up, so its very unsafe. Is there a way to fix it myself, or do I need to take it to Honda? Okay, my husband and I were driving down the highway when a 97 mazda truck hit our 2010 honda Odyssey (which we only had for four months) at 75mph. When they hit our fan the collision crashed us into the guard rail breaking the axel of our van and then the truck went flipping down 95. The passenger of that vehicle was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle and died on impact. My husband and I suffered severe whiplash, my husband was out of work for a week, I stay at home and continued to have lots of swelling in my neck and hip but extremely minor compared to the passenger of the other vehicle. We found out that the driver of this vehicle was not insured and our insurance picked up the medical bills and payed off our van. Now...My husband and I went to get another vehicle but was given a high interest rate because we had a few issues with our credit. Now that we won't accept paying a ridiculously high payment for a new car we are at a loss. Should we try to negotiate a decent settlement check for our accident from our own insurance company or get an attorney???? Please no rude comments. We did not want to sue because we did not want to inflict any more pain on the family that lost their loved one.

I was in a car accident?

Ok so, I was in a car accident this past friday, the 24th. Long story short, my car is totaled. I've got some pretty bad bruising on my chest from the seatbelt and i have a sprained knee. Now today, I just noticed that I have some small bruising on my left arm. They're pink/purple and they're all spread out in little lines. I have no idea if they were there friday, or if they developed over friday night and saturday. I'm just really freaked out now that maybe theres a blood clot or something, or that im bleeding somewhere. They don't hurt when I touch them, so idk! Please help! I was wearing my seatbelt but I had the over the shoulder part under my arm because It can rub against my neck and irrate me. I know that it is not the proper way to wear one but it was still ON. Put the release button facing him and make it secure. He won't be able to see the red push button/release button so he may be frusrated and throw tantrums (if he's anything like my son) so try taking him on a few car rides with the button hidden before your road trip so he can get used to the idea that he won't be able to get out. I had many injuries and i still train like a mad man.I tore my chest 2 times,injured shoulder,messed up knees,elbows but i love training.I hear people making excuse everyday to not be fit and i dont know why.They have time for everything else.

I feed sad every now and then. Sometimes i wish i didn't exist and i over-think situations and sometimes become sad... When in the public i tend to 'be' happy and joyful, but alone am quiet and so tried. I have trouble sleeping. I sleep late and wake up early and i try not to sleep again until 10pm but end up awake on my bed thinking about situations and other stuff. I usually stay awake till past 12am. i cry at things 'normal' people wouldn't and i don't cry when others do. (e.g someone pushed me onto a brick wall and i got a deep scar on my hand and a fat bruise on my knees - i just got teary and smiled) i dont know am usually so energetic when it comes to goin outside but when with my family or home am the opposite. i dont plan to kill myself or anything i appreciate life but i just question why i existed the first place.

The back of my ankle hurts and is swollen, anyone tell me why?

So I have been on my feet a lot today, and I wore flip flops to work. Well when I got home I noticed that the back of my left foot hurt, like the achilles tendon area when I pointed my foot up or bent my knees. My right foot is fine. I then looked at my ankle and noticed on the outside of my foot between my tendon and my ankle bone it is swollen and puffy, not too bad but enough that you can tell. My tendon also still hurts and hurts when I rest it on the recliner or on my other leg. I do not remember bumping anything. I was on my feet a lot today at work because we were busy and I work in sales. I currently have an ice pack on it and will take an epsom salt bath a little later. Could this just be cause by being on my feet in flip flops? Or did I do something to my foot?

We think the glare from our neighbor's window is melting (causing a waving effect) on our siding. We are friends are are trying to figure out a solution to this together. Large, red, and itchy spot on the inside of my right leg, next to my knee.?

Ok, here is what happened. About 2 weeks ago my boyfriend and I were having sex and he drug his teeth across the spot where the rash is now. A little bit later that night I noticed there was a red line, about 2 inches long by 1/2 inch wide where he bit me, I wasn't too worried about it then thinking it was just red. But now the area has grown to about 2 inches in diameter into a nice red, itchy circle. The center area has a few raised bumps that are now flaking and Very, Very itchy. Before then there was no problem with my skin in that area at all. He is my 1st and only and I am his 1st and only. Can anyone help me?

Why is it impossible to do anything with false nails on?

I need advice about my mom...?

Ok so I'm a 22 year old...I haven't lived with my mom for 3 years. I'be been doing everything on my own...I pay all my bills on time, have a great job and I'm still in school. I live by myself and am fully responsible. The problem is my mom still treats me like I'm 14. She still tells me what to do and where to go. She even still tells me to wear a seatbelt and be careful driving. She gets mad at me for getting upset with her when she treats me like I'm still a child. I've tried to calmly talk to her about it but that didn't work. I've tried ignoring her stupid comments and just letting them roll off my shoulder but I'm getting fed up. She got mad at me earlier and told me I need to respect her...shes right, I do but I also think I deserve respect from her. Tetanus Possibility Rusty Blade?

How possible is it that I will come down with tetanus? My quarter rolled down into a hole in my car (The one where the seatbelt receivers come out of) and I reached down there to get it. I didn't find the quarter, but I did find a rusty blade. It wasn't completely rusted, but I was cut. The cut was very shallow, maybe just the first layer. It's roughly .5 cm across also. My last tdap booster was maybe 4 years ago. I cleaned the wound thoroughly and I let it bleed out a little bit. I cleaned it as soon as I noticed I was bleeding (Which was immediately). My parents said I would be fine and I don't need to see a doctor, but how likely is it I would come down with tetanus?

How to counteract glare from neighbors vinyl siding?

Our neighbors house is pretty close to our house, and we had no idea about the glare when we bought the house. When the sun hits the neighbors bright white vinyl siding, we have to close the shades because the sun bounces back in our window like you're looking at the sun! I'm not doing justice to it, it might sound nice, but it's a glaring bright, so bright you need to blink a few times after you shut the blinds (like having your picture taken, but with the flash never going off!) Does anyone have any good suggestions, I've though of tinting our windows, but that doesn't help when the windows open. I'd love to have it open and have regular light and a breeze in so much, but cannot figure out a way - any ingenious thoughts?? All the windows that get a good breeze face this house. I've thought of some way of putting a shade outside my window, but that wouldn't work because it's being reflected off this house, I'm at a loss! Thanks for ANY ideas and help!

I have been using my kindle 3 for about 4 months now and noticed that there are a few scratches on the screen which is because of casual use. I am wondering if applying a matte screen protector on the kindle 3 will affect its quality considerably? Why do some teachers allow students to go up en pointe if they're obviously not ready?

Well at my old studio that I just ended there was this one girl who was really bad. She's been dancing a long time but she's not strong at all and her technique is very weak (she doesnt point her toes, or straighten her knees, she's also a bit overweight not to mention that she doesn't even listen to corrections given by the teachers!). However one of the teachers (probably the best teacher at the studio) did not let her go en pointe but a different teacher did. So of course she went out and bought pointe shoes. And now she will most likely break her ankle or something. I however just got en pointe but a professional teacher at my new studio allowed me to because I have good enough tehnique to do so. Anyway, my point is that why would teachers just let someone en pointe with bad technique? I've seen this happen loads of times, why?

I cut 3 of my fingers off 2 years ago with a table saw, and I have little movement in those 3 fingers. All the cartilage in my right knee is gone. the joint in my knee is rubbing against bone. I have severe depression and anxiety. I have stuff from 3 doctors stating that I need to get disability. My knee doctor recommended it because I cannot stand, or walk for a prolonged amount of time. Injury reoccurring from swimming?

About ten months ago I hurt my knee, I think during breast stroke. I saw a doctor and physical therapist for four months to heal it, ultimately it felt better. I was told no breast stroke for a looong time. they never were sure exactly what was wrong because neither ordered an MRI. They said it could be mcl, meniscus, or plica, but that if pt helped I'd be fine. Well, a few days ago I accidentally kicked one breaststroke kick while trying to get back to the surface.Now, my knee hurts again in the exact same place! Could this be from the ONE breaststroke kick or just because I started swimming again? Please, any advice would be great!

My stomach is burning and very tender after my car wreck last night. Why?

I was involved in a car wreck last night. A vehicle pulled out in front of us and we hit them going 55 mph. I was holding my chin when I got out. I was hit in the face by the airbag and have a lot of jaw pain. My main injury was my stomach was hurting. Cramping and burning. I was rushed to a hospital via ambulance. Their ct scan was down so they did an ultrasound on my organs but didn't see any internal bleeding. (The dr didn't seem very confident) After exrays I was released with just internal bruising. Its been 24 hrs and my stomach is very sore and still burning. Is this a sign of anything or is this a normal feeling? I'm very tender on my right pelvic area also. I'm debating on going to our local hospital and ask for a ct scan. "Oh, and yes I was wearing a seatbelt.". Any helpf advice would be appreciated.

Once upon a time in a small tightly packed village, there lived a fairly young brown haired lemur. He had been cut out of his pack as his looks were too abnormal for his tribe to handle. This Lemur was called Harry and had a long thick beetle like nose with furry eyes with a black like fur bib over his tummy. So far you may be thinking "he seems like a pretty normal lemur to me" however it wasn't this that made his stand out. It was his personality. Looks can mean a simple term as appearance but also can mean his "looks" to other leamers; eg not taking to him. Harry lived in his lemur made cabin with dark wooden chairs and his best possession were his musical instruments. He would sit there for hours everyday playing his piano or belting out lemur 80's hits while eating cucumber at the same time. As much as he praised and treasured there instruments, he knew there was something miss in his long pointless life. Crystal clear tears ran down his smooth fur, making a sweet squeaky sound of upset. Insects, Hedgehogs and even wild cats were aware of this sound but not any lemers which he deep down knew he missed. There was one he particularly missed; her name was Hoops, spaghetti hoops, She had affectionate curls dangling from her head with naturally shinny deep blue eyes, but it wasnt her "looks" which made Harry weep deeper onto his rug, it was her kindness, friendliness her and he acceptance and even extra emotion for Harry. They had met at their local animal information group. Harry walked in not thinking of anything but his next musical project to work on. He walked past groups of teen lemurs demonstrating steetdancing and applying lipstick at top speed. He glared at them and felt a little jealous as he had always fancied putting lipstick on...Maybe if I have dazzling lips they will be my "frr frriied friend" he said. 'Hey" shouted the team lemar member of the group. "We are starting any minute now! Grab you furry bumed feline friends and hop aboard in the hall!" This was Miss Apple. She was very over excited about everything and a bit annoying. Suddenly breaking the silence was a loud crows with smelly perfumes on-the teen group came in. Follwed by the eldeey lemeras greeting all th eyoungoes. Harry snorted trying to be cool. Nearly every seat was filled now, only two remained. Harry looked around about to burst into tears but then jumped and fell on the ground as he has just lad eyes on Hoops! He was nervous but attracted and decided to take the risk...He went over and said Hi, Hoops went "Helle..I am new here...You look now too...Harry liked what he said...The other lemars sneered in a cool way. Hoops didnt say anything else..just stated into Harry'y eyes..Harry done the same to Hoops and not long after he invited her to his lonly life house. They spoke about roadworks and how they didnt like Miss Apple. Harry performed his newly made love song for her and she hugged him in a warm and gentle way. One day he suggested they went into the forest to get some fruit. Hoops said yes.."sounds fun". Harry jumped up and said "Yippie!" then looked at her lemer tail and smiled. " See you tomorrow" Harry saidto Hoops. Hoops looked at her curls with her small mirror and said "oh er bye". The next day they went into the forest, with Harry playing his trumped and Hoops talking about her fave clothes, shops and nuggets. Harry loved it. This was 3 years ago now and Harry had never attempted to try love or any kind to relationship again..his tears had dried now..He was bored..he was very bored..Could he move house? Could he go out..He got his kettle and made a cup of tea. and put some lemar poison in it..
